About

Peter McDowell and Ari Salomon of PerformSites believe in creating effective, attractive, functional web sites for film, performing and visual artists and organizations. McDowell (a veteran of 25 years experience in arts management) and Salomon (a web designer and developer for over 20 years) have teamed up since 2009 to provide a low-cost, high-quality option in web marketing for artists. PerformSites has developed dozens of state-of-the-art, responsive web sites for artists and offers direct training to clients in how to update and maintain their new sites.

PerformSites develops sites exclusively using the WordPress content management system. One of the many great things about WordPress web sites is that they are works in progress, meaning they can be easily added to and refined. Design and content creation packages that we offer are reasonably priced and can be scaled to fit most budgets. The sites are completely modular and user friendly, meaning the user can update pages, posts, images, menus, songs, and video, without needing to know HTML.
