JENNIE OH BROWN, Flutist; Artistic/Executive Director, Ear Taxi 2020; Artistic Director, Picosa, an ensemble collective. Jennie’s solo album, Giantess, was featured in “Howard Reich’s Best Classical Albums of 2019,” (Chicago Tribune). She is the creator of Credo Flute, a professional development program at Elmhurst College, and New Music Chicago Presents, as well as an active contributor and competition coordinator for the National Flute Association. Josquin Research Project...

The goal of the Josquin Research Project is to facilitate a new kind of knowing that brings “big data” into conversation with traditional analytical methods — a new way to engage with Renaissance music. For the first time this music is fully searchable: in a few clicks you can identify every instance of a given melodic and/or rhythmic pattern. The JRP also provides analytical tools that can be used to gain insight into individual works, the style of a given composer, or the musical lingua franca. PerfomSites developer Ari Salomon worked with designer Jenny Martinez  to implement a minimalistic design that recalls the quiet introspection of some of the music archived by JRP. Clarion Alley Mural Project...

The Mission of CAMP is to support and produce socially engaged and aesthetically diverse public art as a grassroots community-based, artist-run organization based in San Francisco. Since 1992 this humble alley has hosted  PerfomSites developer Ari Salomon worked with the CAMP volunteers to implement a simple design with a powerful search engine that allows searching, sorting and browsing of 100s of current and past murals. the “Murals” custom content type makes it easy for staff to manage their content and slowly build up their archive of decades of artwork.     Visit live...
